On your next day, you will hike to Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Lo Gaon and Sama Gaon, passing through many scary bridges, massive landscapes, and waterfalls and stay for acclimatisation at Sama Gaon.
Continuously, you will trek through Samdo and Dharamsala to stay overnight. The next day, early morning, you will ascend towards the Larke pass, passing through lakes, rocky paths and up-and-down walks.

Today will begin the journey by a sweet ride from Kathmandu to Lapbesi village, approximately 200 km. This drive gives you the chance to experience the off-road trip. After reaching Lapbesi village, hike to Machha Khola village. The village offers a stunning view of Manaslu and a natural hot spring. Today we will stay overnight at Machha kholal and prepare for the next journey.
In the morning after breakfast, we will hike to Jagat from Machha-khola alongside the Budi Gandaki River. Today, you will pass through the river and the local bridge, the suspension bridge, the waterfalls, and cross the natural hot spring known as Tatopani in Nepali.
After an uphill walk, you will pass through treacherous and difficult trails alongside a massive landslide. You can observe a bridge constructed right on the face of the huge cliff, a vertical cliff pointed directly to the sky. After 7 hours (approximately 21 km) of hiking, we will reach Jagat for an overnight stay.
After a wonderful breakfast at Jagat, we will hike to Deng, crossing suspension bridges and rivers and on an uphill hike alongside the rising torrent of the Budi Gandaki River. Then, down below, pass through some beautiful canyons and cliff sides. After seven and a half hours of hiking, we will reach Deng, a beautiful snow-covered mountain.
Today, in the morning after breakfast, we will start our truly relaxing hike from Deng towards Namrung for six to seven hours (25km above). During today's hike, we will cross suspension bridges, rivers, massive landslides and some beautiful rural ancient villages alongside massive cliffside and forest.
After breakfast, we will hike to Lo-Gaon from Namrung for five hours (11km) alongside rural villages with ancient temples and a compass. From here, we can observe the breathtaking sunrise and sunset on the top of Mount Manaslu. Overnight stay at Lo-Gaon to relax, rest, and prepare for the next day's hike.
After breakfast, we will hike to Sama Gaon from Lo-Gaon for five hours (9km) with the majestic view of Mount Manaslu. We hike uphill towards an ancient Gompa of Lo, an ancient monastery in the high Himalayas. Today, we will hike alongside a beautiful, pristine forest and climb up a hill towards a village with shala suspension bridges.
Today is an alternative rest to acclimatise our body to the changing weather. We will hike to Birendra Lake, situated at 3650m and return to the hotel after spending a beautiful moment. You can walk around the village to explore and stay overnight. We can see the beautiful twinkling stars at night from here.
Staying at Sama Gaon is magical every day, and each day offers different landscapes on the trail. Today, in the morning after breakfast, we will hike to Samdo for 5 hours. During the hike, you can observe a way surrounded by mountains, many landslides, and flying Himalayan griffon vultures. Stay overnight at Samdo to prepare for the next day.
After breakfast, we will hike towards Dharmasala from Samdo today, which takes four to five hours. Pass through a major market at the Tibetan border that has been around for centuries, called the Larke bazaar. Today we will walk on the rocky banks of icy streams flowing from the glacier source of Larke Peak.
Then, enjoy the afternoon after lunch preparations for the next early morning long climb to cross the highest and toughest part of the adventure over the high Larke-La pass.
Today is the most challenging but enjoyable day.We will start our journey towards the Larke-La pass early in the morning. As we walk, we continue to reach the highest point, the Larke pass, where the mass is adorned with colourful Buddhist prayer flags and a signboard with the name of the pass and its height.
Once you reach to the highest point of the trek (Larke Pass 5160m), you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Manaslu Himalaya range, Ganesh Himal towards the far east, Annapurna II, Lamjung, Larke peaks, and Himlung Himal in the north-west.
After a refreshing break and a wonderful moment at the pass, descend downhill to the other side of the Larke Pass around the Manang area. From here, walk to Bhimthang, a lovely spot with several lodges in a beautiful forest surrounded by tall pine, fir and rhododendron tree lines.
After breakfast, we will continue our hike in the morning, descending the valley alongside the Dudh Khola. Each step unfolds a rich tapestry of flourishing trees and vibrant wildlife. After a 7-hour hike, we will arrive at Tilche overnight.
After breakfast, A private jeep will drive you from Tilche to Besisar for three hours. Once again, prepare for a bumpy ride, but amid the rugged terrain, take time to revel in the captivating scenery. Allowing the region's sights and sounds is a final testament to the enduring allure of the Manaslu circuit trek.
Today, after breakfast, we will transfer to Kathmandu from Besisar by jeep. Heads through many farm villages and towns to reach the main city, Kathmandu, by the Pokhara Highway.
Then, on a good road, the drive follows the Trisuli River for some hours and up towards the Kathmandu valley. After arriving at Kathmandu, transfer to respective hotels. The rest of the day is free to relax or for leisure activities, and celebrate the last night with lunch and drinks. Stay relaxed and sleep well to prepare for the next departure day.

The guide was experienced and ensured our group was well-acclimatized before tackling the pass. If you're looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure with less crowd and stunning scenery, this is the trek for you.
Manaslu Circuit & Larke La Pass was the best trek I've ever done. Unlike the busier trails of Annapurna and Everest, this trek felt much more secluded and peaceful. The diversity of the landscapes was incredible, from deep gorges and terraced fields to snow-covered mountains and glaciers.
