Dhulikhel town is an hour or more drive from Kathmandu city, where the ride takes you off the eastern valley rim. A pleasant drive on the famous Kathmandu and Lhasa-Tibet main highway a scenic short journey through rural farm villages and towns.

Seasons for Dhulikhel & Namobuddha Tour:
Nepal has four major seasons, namely spring from March to May, summer with Monsoon Wet times from June to August, autumn from September to November, and winter from December to February. Nepal can be visited the whole year-round. The best time is in spring and autumn to visit Nepal and around the Himalayas. Winter is also a good season but much cold especially in the morning and evening to night time, with short sun-light hours.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Drive to Dhulikhel Hill Town 1,440 m - 02 hrs.

Having hearty breakfast, as per the time for departure from hotel our guide will receive you for few hour drive. An enjoyable scenic drive takes you east from Kathmandu, as drive follows past Bhaktapur then on winding uphill through farm villages and Banepa town, then reaching at Dhulikhel.

On arrival at Dhulikhel transfer to your hotels or resorts, enjoy the afternoon exploring the town full of ancient culture and custom with sunset views over array of Himalayan peaks.

Day 2 : Drive to Kathmandu with tour of Namobuddha - 04 hrs.

Enjoy stunning sunrise along with array of Himalayan peaks, includes from Ganesh, Langtang and Jugal Himal with Mt. Gaurishankar, as far towards Everest range in the far eastern horizon. 

After breakfast leave the hotel for short drive south from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha, a holy Buddhist place, Buddhist followers and pilgrims from all over Nepal and adjoining Himalayan countries visits for worship. Located south of Dhulikhel in a tranquil surroundings amidst lovely cool shade of rhododendron and pine woods. Visit the holy site and monastery the sacred sites known as ‘Three Stupas in Nepal’ is Tagmo Lüjin "The place where future Buddha sacrificed his body to a tigress". 

From Namobuddha peaceful and serene environment, return drive back to Kathmandu after a lovely and remarkable experience on Dhulikhel & Namobuddha Tour.
